Introducing Yet Another New Service for Library Patrons

Item Retrieval Request Service

No more browsing the stacks searching for a book. Patrons can now request library materials online using the Item Retrieval Request Service.

Go to the website, www.library.cup.edu.
Click on PILOT, the online catalog.
Search for an item.
View the record display of the item.
Click on Hold/Item Retrieval Request at the top of the screen.
Type in CalCard number and last name.
Click the login button.
Click the drop down menu and select Item Retrieval Request.
Click the OK button.
Again, type in CalCard number.
Click the submit/request button.

The materials will be retrieved and available for pick up at the Circulation/Reserve Desk in 24 hours (48 hours on weekends).
